Welcome to Rupaira. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Rupaira and govern your use of the Rupaira app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
1. Who can use Rupaira
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your login details, device and biometric unlock secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.
2. What Rupaira is (and is not)
Rupaira is a personal and business money tracking tool. It helps you record income, expenses, budgets, savings goals, clients and reminders. Rupaira is not a bank, is not a licensed financial adviser, and does not provide investment, tax or legal advice. Any insight, safe-to-spend figure or projection shown in the app is an estimate based on the data you enter.
3. Your data and your responsibility
You own the financial data you enter. You are responsible for its accuracy. Rupaira syncs your data to secure cloud storage and caches it on your device for fast access. You should keep your own backups of anything critical — the CSV export in Settings is there for exactly that.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or abusive;
- attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
- create accounts using fake, disposable or automated means.
5. Accounts and verification
We may require email verification, CAPTCHA checks and rate limits before an account is activated, in order to keep the Service free of spam and fake accounts. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these Terms.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Rupaira available and reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time. We may update these Terms; if a change is material we will tell you in the app.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rupaira is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or any financial decision you take based on information shown in the app.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Rupaira and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your synced data from our systems, subject to short technical retention in backups.
